We all have some or the other disability, it’s just that for some the disability is a bit more visible. Yesterday at our Chrysalis Entrepreneur Forum meet we had the privilege to listen to Mr Subhash Chuttar. A 75 year young entrepreneur who set up an amazing example for the rest of the business world by employing ‘special’ children in his factory 25 years ago. What started as a small experiment has now become a norm for his company and today out of a work force of 400 workers, 68 are from the ‘special’ category. His face glows with pride when he speaks of zero error productivity in his factory. He proudly states that these special people though a bit slow at work, are more sincere and more hardworking than the so called normal people. Mr Chuttar’s approach to life and his dedication to the cause was heartening and the entire audience was left with moist eyes as he winded up his talk. Having been honoured with more than 50 national and international awards including one by our late President Dr APJ Kalam, Mr Chuttar is a great example of what inclusive society could be all about. Feels so blessed to have a Forum where we get to meet and interact with inspirations from all spectrums of life.
